Meet the Chef at Lookout Landing

In Lookout Landing, find Gotter, a former royal palace chef who survived the Upheaval and now feeds refugees at the settlement camp. She confides that before the Calamity, the royal family had a beloved recipe called the "Crown Chowder" — a creamy fish soup served at Hyrulean state dinners. She wants to recreate it as a morale boost for the camp, but needs four specific ingredients.

Gather the Four Ingredients

The required ingredients are: a Hyrule Bass (fish in any Central Hyrule river or pond — common catch near Windvane Meadow), Tabantha Wheat (sold at Rito Village or found in treasure chests across Tabantha), Goat Butter (sold at Hateno Village's general store or Highland Stable), and Fresh Milk (sold at any stable along the main roads). All four can typically be sourced within 20 minutes of travel.

Deliver the Ingredients to Gotter

Return to Lookout Landing with all four items in your inventory. Gotter takes them, combines them with her personal spice blend, and cooks the Crown Chowder at the central camp fire. The smell draws a small crowd of refugees who have not eaten well since the Upheaval. Gotter distributes bowls to everyone, and the camp's mood visibly improves.

Gotter shares the full Crown Chowder recipe (Hyrule Bass + Tabantha Wheat + Goat Butter + Fresh Milk = Crown Chowder, which provides full health recovery plus 3 bonus hearts). She also reveals a cooking upgrade secret: adding a Dragon Scale to any meal turns it into a 30-minute elixir with the Dragon's elemental property. This "Dragon Elixir" trick is one of the strongest upgrades available in the game.
