Accept the journalist job to investigate Princess Zelda sightings reported at stables across Hyrule. Penn gives you your first lead and explains the reward structure — each completed investigation earns a Froggy Armor piece.

Visit Stables and Investigate Sightings

Penn appears at various stables across Hyrule with tips about Zelda sightings. Each stable has a unique mini-quest: interview witnesses, investigate suspicious activity, defeat monsters causing trouble, or expose Yiga Clan impersonators posing as Zelda. Key stables with sightings include Rito Stable, Snowfield Stable, Highland Stable, Gerudo Canyon Stable, Dueling Peaks Stable, and others.

Complete Each Stable Investigation

Each investigation plays out differently. Some require combat (defeating monsters that attacked during a sighting), others require detective work (talking to multiple NPCs and finding contradictions in their stories), and several involve confronting Yiga Clan members disguised as Zelda. After resolving each sighting, Penn writes up the story and you earn a reward.

Collect All Froggy Armor Pieces

Complete enough stable investigations to earn all three Froggy Armor pieces: Froggy Hood, Froggy Sleeve, and Froggy Leggings. The full set provides the "Slip Resistance" bonus, preventing you from slipping while climbing in the rain — one of the most useful quality-of-life set bonuses in the entire game. After completing all investigations, a final story wraps up the Princess Zelda sighting mystery.
