Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1

Speak with Robbie at Lookout Landing

Find Robbie at his research station on the upper level of Lookout Landing. He explains he has been working on an upgrade to the Purah Pad's sensor functions — a system that can detect not just shrines but also materials, monsters, and specific gear types within a wider radius. The upgrade requires three Zonai Charges from Sky Islands to power the prototype sensor array he has built.

2

Collect Three Zonai Charges from Sky Islands

Activate the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower and launch into the sky. Zonai Charges are found in chests on Sky Islands and dispensed from Zonai Charge Dispensers (round devices that drop items when activated with Ultrahand). The nearest sky islands above Lookout Landing have at least two dispenser clusters with Zonai Charges available. Collect three charges total — they stack in inventory.

3

Deliver the Charges to Robbie

Return to Robbie at Lookout Landing and hand over the three Zonai Charges. He installs them into the sensor array prototype with visible excitement. The device activates and Robbie runs a diagnostic — after a brief calibration sequence, he announces the upgrade is fully functional and uploads it wirelessly to Link's Purah Pad via a glowing beam of light.

4

Receive the Sensor+ Upgrade and Learn Its Features

The Sensor+ upgrade dramatically expands your shrine detection ability: the sensor now distinguishes between shrine types, highlights Korok puzzle locations, and can be tuned to track specific items you have photographed in the Hyrule Compendium. Robbie also unlocks the Shrine Sensor enhancement that increases detection radius from 50 to 100 meters. These upgrades make exploration significantly more efficient for the rest of the game.

Pro Tips

1

Side quests often unlock unique rewards not available elsewhere. Always check the reward before skipping one.

2

Pin the quest on your map to track the objective marker while exploring.

3

Cook Hearty meals to gain temporary bonus hearts. Hearty Durians are the most efficient.

4

Consider equipping the Fierce Deity Set or Barbarian Armor for maximum attack power before the hardest encounters.

5

Use your Purah Pad Sensor+ to track quest-related items and materials as you explore.
