Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1
Meet the Treasure Hunter Domidak at Lookout Landing
Find Domidak near the Lookout Landing tavern — he is surrounded by maps and field journals. He has a partial treasure map to a pre-Upheaval cache buried somewhere in Central Hyrule, but the map was torn and half the clues are missing. He can read enough to know the chest is near a "lone stone pillar between three rivers" but cannot narrow it further. He offers the Falcon Bow as payment if Link recovers the chest first.
2
Decode the Map Clues
Study Domidak's partial map alongside the Purah Pad. The "lone stone pillar between three rivers" refers to the pillar ruin near the confluence of the Hylia River tributaries in the Central Hyrule plain, northeast of the Highland Stable. Cross-referencing the map fragments against visible river bends on the Purah Pad narrows the location to a 100-meter radius around the Hyrule Field central ruins cluster.
3
Use Sensor+ to Locate the Buried Chest
Set the Purah Pad Sensor+ to detect Treasure Chests and sweep the area around the stone pillar ruin. Walk a grid pattern from the pillar outward — the sensor pings increase as you approach the correct spot. The chest is buried about half a meter underground, visible as a slight soil discoloration if you look closely. Use Ultrahand to pull the chest out of the ground.
4
Open the Chest and Report to Domidak
Open the unearthed chest to find the Falcon Bow in pristine condition — sealed in a waterproof Sheikah-style case that protected it through the Upheaval. Return to Domidak at Lookout Landing and show him the chest case. He is stunned you found it so quickly and honors the deal, letting Link keep the Falcon Bow. He formally grants Link the unofficial title of Treasure Hunter and updates his own maps with the confirmed location.
