Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1
Speak with Paya in the Kakariko Village Chief's House
Find Paya in the chief's residence at the top of Kakariko Village. She has been documenting the Upheaval damage and has a list of the three most urgent repairs: Lasli's pottery shop has a cracked foundation that will collapse the front wall, Dorian's lookout platform is broken and leaves the village exposed, and the village well cover has shattered leaving it unsafe. Paya asks Link to assess and help with all three.
2
Repair Lasli's Pottery Shop Foundation
Lasli's shop is on the lower terrace — the front wall foundation stone cracked and shifted. Two large stone wedges are needed to stabilize it. Use Ultrahand to retrieve flat stones from the terrace path nearby and position them under the shifted foundation block as support wedges. Lasli watches nervously and confirms the fix once the wall stops moving. She thanks Link with a pottery piece and news about the village.
3
Fix Dorian's Lookout Platform
Dorian's platform is on the village's eastern wall — two of the wooden support beams collapsed inward. Fresh timber cut from the Kakariko forest perimeter is stacked nearby. Use Ultrahand to lift the two beams into their bracket slots on the platform frame. Dorian tests the platform's weight when repaired and deems it safe. He reports no monster sightings from the repaired post within minutes.
4
Replace the Well Cover and Report to Paya
The well cover in the village square needs a replacement stone cap. Use Ultrahand to carry a flat stone from the lower terrace ruins to the well opening and fit it into place. Return to Paya with all three repairs complete. She rewards Link with three Opals from the village reserves and arranges a permanent inn discount — the village is grateful for the assistance during its most vulnerable period since the Upheaval.
