Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1

Meet Josha and Robbie at the Hyrule Castle Research Station

Josha and Robbie have set up a secondary research station near the Hyrule Castle moat. They have been comparing the 12 Dragon Tear memory sites collected with Impa against ancient Zonai star charts and believe six additional sites may hold incomplete or fragmented Dragon Tears — memories too faint to trigger automatically. They hand Link a list of six suspected coordinates and ask him to visit each with the Camera ready.

2

Visit the First Three Suspected Dragon Tear Sites

The first three sites are at: a stone basin in the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab ruins, the summit of Satori Mountain, and the carved rock formation northeast of Kakariko Village. At each site, use the Camera to photograph the area — even if no full Dragon Tear glow is visible. Josha's instruments detect residual energy signatures that become apparent in photographs taken from the correct angle and distance.

3

Investigate the Remaining Three Sites in Faron and Lanayru

The final three sites are at: the ancient stone circle above Lurelin Village, the flooded ruins in Lake Floria, and the cliffside shrine overlook above Zora's Domain. The Floria site requires diving to the ruins floor underwater. At each site, photograph the central focus point — Josha's coordinates are precise and each site shows faint luminescent tracery on the stone when photographed in low light.

4

Deliver All Six Photographs to Josha

Return to Josha with all six photographs. She analyzes them using the Purah Pad's enhanced imaging mode and confirms that four of the six sites do contain residual Dragon Tear energy — incomplete memories that evaporated after the dragons' transformation. The research yields a unique fragment lore entry for the Purah Pad's history codex and Robbie applies a Purah Pad sensitivity upgrade that improves Dragon Tear detection range.
