Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. A Spinning Device.
2. Susuyai Shrine is west of Lookout Landing near the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower, making it highly accessible early in the game.
3. Step 1: Enter and face a locked gate controlled by a large circular crank mechanism embedded in the right wall.
4. Grab the crank handle with Ultrahand and rotate it clockwise.
5. As you spin, watch the gears behind the gate — the barrier rises gradually with each rotation.
6. Step 2: Keep rotating for 3 full turns until you hear a mechanical click.
7. The latch engages and the gate stays open permanently.
8. Step 3: Walk through the gate to the altar.
9. Hidden chest: Before going through the gate, look beside the crank mechanism.
10. A chest containing a Zonai Spring sits partially obscured by the crank housing — easy to walk right past.
11. Time-saving trick: Near the entry, a loose wooden wheel lies on the ground.
12. Use Ultrahand to attach this wheel to the crank hub — the larger radius gives you much better leverage, making the crank spin faster with less effort.
13. This "attach a wheel to a crank" technique appears in several later shrines and Zonai device puzzles, so learning it here pays off.
