Description
Any shield enhanced with a Dragon Scale fusion — Farosh's electric-green scales, Naydra's ice-blue scales, Dinraal's flame-red scales, or the rare golden scales of the Light Dragon. The scale radiates its dragon's elemental aura continuously, which charges parried attacks with the corresponding element: Farosh gives thunder parries that chain to wet enemies, Naydra creates ice-blast parries that freeze attackers, Dinraal ignites parried enemies with persistent flame, and the Light Dragon's scale adds sacred energy that deals bonus damage to Gloom-corrupted targets including all Phantom Ganon forms and the final Demon Dragon. Obtain Dragon Scales by shooting the dragon's scales with an arrow while mounted; the Light Dragon becomes accessible after collecting all Dragon's Tears memories. The Dragon Scale Shield is the most versatile endgame shield for players who prioritize elemental parry interactions over raw defense stat maximization.
