Description
An ice-element spear created by fusing cold materials to a spear base — Ice Keese Wing, White Chuchu Jelly, Sapphire, or Gleeok Frost Horn. The frost element permeates the spear tip, applying freeze buildup to targets on each pierce. Successive hits fully freeze enemies, immobilizing them and setting up shattering combos for bonus damage multipliers. Dedicated Frost Spears are also found in Hebra ice cavern weapon caches, forged by Rito warriors using cryo-mineral deposits from the northern mountains. The freeze-on-pierce mechanic is especially effective against fire-element enemies in Eldin who are acutely vulnerable to cold. A Gleeok Frost Horn fusion transforms any spear into a top-tier freeze platform for crowd control in multi-enemy encounters throughout Hebra and Lanayru.
