Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
The most dangerous standard Hinox variant with dark skin, maximum HP, and the most aggressive attack patterns. Covers its eye immediately after the first bow hit, requiring sustained pressure and patience. Its weapon necklace features the best equipment drops of any Hinox variant. Black Hinox Guts are required for upgrading the best defense-oriented armor pieces to tier 4.

How to Beat Black Hinox
The toughest standard Hinox. Guards its eye aggressively. Use a multi-shot bow or Keese Eyeball arrows to guarantee eye hits. Alternatively, focus on leg attacks to topple it repeatedly.
