Eragats Lightroot (anagram of Stagare Shrine) marks the southern boundary of the volcanic Eldin Depths, where a cool air mass flowing north from the Central Depths meets the geothermal heat and produces a band of persistent steam 30-40 meters wide. This is one of the coolest zones in the Eldin region — no Flamebreaker requirement, no passive damage — making it a natural rest point before or after engaging the northern volcanic zones. Mineral condensation from the steam has built stalactite clusters along the steam boundary that contain Sapphire and Opal deposits — the rapid temperature cycling causes these minerals to crystallize out of the air faster here than anywhere in the region. A natural Brightbloom garden occupies a broad flat shelf on the eastern side, fed by moisture from the steam band; these are full-size Giant Brightblooms, not just seeds, providing seed harvesting without farming infrastructure. A Frox territory boundary lies 70 meters northeast — the creature's excavation debris (Zonaite chunks) marks the edge of safe movement. The Frox patrols a regular 200-meter circuit and can be tracked visually. Poe trail runs along the steam boundary east-to-west, totaling 11 Poes across 150 meters.
