Rock pattern Koroks appear as arrangements of stones on flat ground that are clearly missing one element. Common patterns: a circle of rocks with a gap, a row of apples with one spot empty, or a symmetrical arrangement of boulders with a blank space. A single loose rock or fruit item nearby is the missing piece. The pattern is usually within 20 meters of the solution item.

Find and Pick Up the Missing Piece
Scan the immediate area for the correct item. Use Ultrahand to pick up the lone rock, apple, or object near the incomplete pattern. The correct item will be the same shape and size as those already in the pattern. Pick it up carefully — Ultrahand's precision mode (hold ZL) makes it easier to grab a single item without disturbing the completed portions of the arrangement.

Place the Item and Complete the Pattern
Carefully position the missing piece in the empty gap using Ultrahand. For rock circles, align the rock flush with the others so the circle is unbroken. For apple rows, the apple must touch or be adjacent to the empty spot. When correctly placed, the pattern glows and a Korok pops out immediately. If the pattern does not trigger, adjust the placement slightly — the hitbox is forgiving but the item must be within a few centimeters of the correct position.
