Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1

Reach Eventide Island

Eventide Island is located far off the southeast coast of Necluda. The easiest approach: launch from the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower and glide southeast over the ocean. You will need significant stamina (at least 1.5 wheels) or stamina-restoring food to make the flight. Alternatively, build a Zonai boat at the Lurelin Village shore and sail across. Note: in TotK, your equipment is NOT stripped upon arrival (unlike BotW), but the challenge is still present.

2

Find and Place the Three Orbs

The island has three glowing pedestals on elevated positions and three orbs guarded by monster camps. Camp 1 (south beach): defeat the Bokoblin camp to grab the orb near the cooking fire. Camp 2 (eastern cliff): fight the Blue Moblin guarding an orb on the rocky plateau. Camp 3 (summit): defeat the Hinox sleeping at the peak — the orb is around its neck and drops when defeated.

3

Defeat the Hinox Boss

The Hinox on the summit is the toughest fight on the island. It wears the orb as a necklace. Shoot its eye with arrows to stun it, then attack with your strongest weapons. When it covers its eye, wait for it to attack and dodge. Use the island's explosive barrels for extra damage. Once defeated, grab the orb from the ground.

4

Complete the Trial and Claim Your Reward

Carry each orb to its corresponding pedestal using Ultrahand (matching orb color to pedestal glow helps). Once all three are placed, the shrine rises from the ground. Complete the shrine for a Light of Blessing. All your original equipment is available throughout on TotK, making this more accessible than the BotW version of this challenge.

Pro Tips

1

Use Ultrahand to look for hidden objects or movable platforms you might have missed.

2

If stuck, try looking at the puzzle from a different angle — literally. Use Ascend to reach higher vantage points.

3

Cook Hearty meals to gain temporary bonus hearts. Hearty Durians are the most efficient.

4

Consider equipping the Fierce Deity Set or Barbarian Armor for maximum attack power before the hardest encounters.

5

Use your Purah Pad Sensor+ to track quest-related items and materials as you explore.
