Find the Stranded Villagers

Travel east from Hateno Village along the path toward the coast. At a wide river crossing, find a group of villagers stranded on the far bank. The original wooden bridge was destroyed during the Upheaval when the ground shifted. The village elder explains that without the bridge, they cannot transport goods to Hateno Village and their community is slowly running out of supplies.

Gather Building Materials

Look around the riverbanks for construction materials: several large logs are scattered on both sides of the river from the destroyed bridge, flat stone slabs sit partially buried in the riverbed, and wooden planks lean against nearby trees. Use Ultrahand to pull all available materials to the near bank where you will assemble the bridge before positioning it across the gap.

Construct and Position the Bridge

Use Ultrahand to attach logs together lengthwise, creating a span long enough to reach across the river. Lay flat stone slabs on top for a stable walking surface and attach additional support logs underneath for structural integrity. Once assembled, grab the entire bridge with Ultrahand and carefully rotate it into position across the river gap, resting both ends on the banks.

Test the Bridge and Claim Your Reward

Walk across your newly constructed bridge to confirm it holds. The villagers cheer and immediately begin crossing with their trade goods. The village elder rewards Link with 50 Rupees and a home-cooked Spicy Mushroom Skewer as gratitude. The bridge remains permanently in place, providing a convenient crossing point for future travel through eastern Necluda.
