Start the quest at the Rito Village Stable (or nearby Lucky Clover Gazette office) where Penn, an eager reporter, is chasing a story about Princess Zelda sightings across Hyrule. He believes these sightings are connected and wants Link to help investigate each stable, since travelers at stables often report unusual events. Penn marks the locations of 14+ stable investigation sites on your map.

Investigate Stable Reports Across Hyrule

At each stable, Penn has posted a note or will arrive shortly after Link. The stable residents all have a story about a mysterious woman matching Zelda's description who visited, sometimes performing miraculous acts like healing injured horses or calming dangerous weather. At some stables, the encounter left physical evidence — a hair ribbon, a written message, or a crest stamp in the guest register.

Follow Up on the Strongest Leads

Not all sightings are equally credible — Penn helps filter them. The most compelling evidence comes from stables near Hyrule Castle, where witnesses describe the woman speaking in an ancient language while gesturing to the sky. Cross-reference these accounts with the geoglyphs visible from the Skyview Towers: the patterns match the Zonai mythological cycle that Impa is also studying.

Complete the Stable Quest Chain and Claim the Froggy Armor

After investigating all stable reports, Penn publishes a series of articles in the Lucky Clover Gazette. As thanks for helping build the story, he awards Link the complete Froggy Armor set (Froggy Sleeve, Leggings, Hood) — armor with exceptional rain climbing grip. The set bonus completely negates the slipping mechanic when climbing in rain, making exploration in wet weather as easy as dry terrain.
