Maren's Tip

Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Step 1: Enter the shrine and observe the main chamber.
2. Four laser sensors emit horizontal beams across the room — two from emitters mounted on the left wall and two from the right wall.
3. Each beam terminates at a receiver on the opposite wall.
4. The gate to the altar remains locked until all four beams are simultaneously interrupted.
5. Step 2: Locate the four metal blocks stacked near the entrance corridor.
6. Use Ultrahand to grab the first block and position it directly in front of the lower-left laser emitter, breaking that beam.
7. The block must be tall enough to fully obstruct the beam — if light leaks around the edges, reposition it.
8. Step 3: Place the second block in front of the upper-left emitter.
9. With both left-side beams blocked, a side alcove gate partially opens, revealing a chest.
10. Step 4: Block the lower-right emitter with the third metal block.
11. The side alcove gate now opens fully — grab the chest inside containing a Sapphire (worth 260 rupees) before continuing.
12. Step 5: Position the fourth and final block in front of the upper-right emitter.
13. When all four beams are interrupted simultaneously, the main gate to the altar slides open with an audible chime.
14. Walk through and claim the Light of Blessing.
15. Ability needed: Ultrahand is the only ability required.
16. Precision placement is key — each block must fully cover its laser emitter opening.
17. Pro tip: The blocks do not need to touch the emitters directly.
18. Placing them anywhere along the beam path works, but positioning them right against the emitter prevents accidental nudging that could unblock the beam while you work on others.
