Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1

Gather Clues from Lookout Landing

Speak with Josha in the underground research lab at Lookout Landing after completing at least one Regional Phenomena quest. She has translated Zonai tablets referencing a fifth sage who sealed herself away during the Imprisoning War. Purah confirms that ancient texts mention the Sage of Spirit — Rauru's older sister Mineru.

2

Reach the Thunderhead Isles

Travel to the Faron region and launch from the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower. The Thunderhead Isles are a cluster of sky islands shrouded in permanent storm clouds above Faron. Navigate through lightning-filled skies using glider management and Zonai flying devices to reach the central island complex housing ancient Zonai ruins and terminals.

3

Contact Mineru's Spirit

Inside the Thunderhead Isles ruins, find a Purah Pad terminal that connects to Mineru's disembodied spirit. She explains her construct body is stored in a temple deep in the Depths below and requires four components — head, left arm, right arm, and legs — to be reassembled before her spirit can inhabit it and fight alongside Link.

4

Retrieve the Four Construct Components

Descend into the Depths beneath the Thunderhead Isles to enter the Spirit Temple. This sprawling underground complex contains four puzzle rooms, each guarding one construct body part. Solve mechanical Zonai puzzles involving conveyor belts, powered platforms, and combat encounters to retrieve each component and transport them to the central assembly hall.

5

Assemble the Construct and Claim Your Ally

Carry all four components to the central platform using Ultrahand and attach them to the construct frame. Once assembled, Mineru's spirit inhabits the mech body, creating a rideable battle construct that Link can pilot. Defeat the corrupted Seized Construct boss guarding the temple exit, and Mineru pledges her vow as the Sage of Spirit.
