Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1

Prepare Your Arsenal

Before entering the final battle, stockpile your best gear: cook Hearty meals for full health restoration with bonus hearts, prepare Sundelion dishes for Gloom recovery, ensure your strongest Fused weapons are repaired or freshly built, and max out your arrow supply. The Barbarian or Fierce Deity armor sets are ideal for the attack bonus they provide.

2

Enter the Chasm Beneath Hyrule Castle

Navigate through the floating Hyrule Castle corridors, fighting Gloom Hands and corrupted Guardians as you progress. Reach the Sanctum at the castle's core where a massive glowing chasm descends into the deepest part of the Depths. All four sage companions automatically rally at this point and join Link for the descent.

3

Traverse the Gloom-Saturated Cavern

Freefall through the chasm into an enormous underground cavern saturated with Gloom. The path is linear but foreboding — ancient Zonai architecture crumbles around you as Gloom pools cover the ground. Light Brightbloom Seeds to reveal the path and avoid stepping in Gloom, which drains your maximum hearts with prolonged contact.

4

Defeat the Demon King Ganondorf

Ganondorf awaits in his throne room wielding a Gloom-infused blade. He fights with devastating melee combos and can temporarily disable your sage companions. Use Perfect Dodge to trigger Flurry Rush counterattacks and strike with the Master Sword for massive bonus damage. Midway through the fight, he creates Gloom pools across the arena floor that restrict your movement.

5

Survive the Demon Dragon Aerial Battle

After depleting his health, Ganondorf swallows a secret stone and transforms into the monstrous Demon Dragon. Zelda, as the Light Dragon, carries Link skyward for a breathtaking aerial battle. Dive onto the Demon Dragon's back to attack glowing Gloom nodes, then reach its head to deliver the final blow with the Master Sword and end the threat permanently.
