Wild Strength Horse
About Wild Strength Horse
A wild horse with maximum 5-star pull (strength), built for hauling loads, trampling enemies, and powering Zonai vehicle builds. Strength horses have bulkier, heavier frames with barrel chests and short-but-muscular necks. Their pulling power makes them second only to the Giant Horse in raw strength, but unlike the Giant Horse they can still sprint with stamina spurs and wear full customization gear. Players who use the Towing Harness for horse-drawn Zonai carts, platforms, or constructions will find strength horses indispensable. The trade-off is low speed — at 2 stars, these mounts feel slow for open-field travel.
Where to Find Wild Strength Horse
Detailed Location
Strength-focused wild horses appear primarily in the southern and central grasslands. Most reliable spawns: the Faron Grasslands between Lake Hylia and the Mounted Archery Camp (the same region as the Giant Horse — these horses may share a herd with it), the broader central Hyrule Field south of Lookout Landing, and the Necluda plains between Dueling Peaks Stable and Kakariko. They are moderately rare — not as elusive as 5-speed horses but less common than balanced mounts. Look for stockier, heavier builds in herds.
How to Tame Wild Strength Horse
1
Fierce temperament requires approximately 1.5 stamina wheels of soothing — the second highest requirement after the Giant Horse.
2
Come prepared: eat two Endura Carrot meals or a mix of Stamina Elixirs before approaching.
3
Stealth approach is essential — fierce horses are highly alert. Full Stealth Set or Sneaky Elixir strongly recommended.
4
Mount and mash L aggressively. Fierce horses buck harder and longer than wild-temperament horses. Stay on.
5
Have stamina-restoring food in a quick slot and eat mid-tame if your bar drops low.
6
Once soothed, ride directly to the nearest stable and register before dismounting.

Tips & Advice
•
If you use Zonai horse-drawn cart builds, this horse combined with the Towing Harness (9 Pony Points) is your ideal engine.
•
Fierce temperament means slower bond progression — prioritize feeding after registration to accelerate bonding.
•
The 2-speed stat is slow for general travel — keep this horse as a specialized mount and use a faster horse for exploration.
•
Fierce horses are more difficult to steer at low bond — they resist direction changes. Build bond before relying on precise navigation.
•
Malanya can revive this horse if it falls in combat — worth the trip if you have lost a prized 5-pull mount.
