About This Lightroot
Netamih is the northernmost lightroot in the Hebra Depths, corresponding to Himaten Shrine in the far north Hebra snowfields above. The ice cavern here is the most expansive single cave chamber in the Hebra Depths — easily 300 meters wide — and the ceiling is so high that the upper reaches vanish into darkness beyond the lightroot's glow range. Temperatures require at least Level 2 cold resistance just to avoid passive cold damage; at the cavern's deepest northern alcove, Level 3 is needed. Rare cold-weather materials grow from the ice here: Chillshrooms, Icy Lizalfos parts, and the white-tinged Zonaite variant (functionally identical but visually distinctive) cluster in the northern alcove. An Ice Keese mega-swarm (30+ Keese) roosts in the upper cavern and can be triggered by noise — approach quietly with Stealth Set or Sneaky Elixir active. A Frost Gleeok has claimed the center of the cavern as its territory, making any approach along the central path extremely dangerous. Route recommendation: hug the western ice wall from the Sibajitak Lightroot corridor, bypassing the Gleeok center territory entirely.
