Locate a Korok Separated from Its Friend
Koroks in the Depths glow with a warm orange light and are visibly distressed — they call out with a small cry. These Koroks cannot move and are separated from their companion Korok somewhere nearby in the Depths. The companion also glows orange and is visible at a distance. A faint orange trail or crying sound leads Link between the two. Activate the nearest Lightroot before engaging to ensure the area is illuminated.

Build a Vehicle to Carry the Korok
Pick up the isolated Korok using Ultrahand — it will cry and protest but can be held. You must carry or transport the Korok to its companion. For short distances, simply hold the Korok while walking. For longer routes, build a cart: attach the Korok to a flat plank using Ultrahand, add a Zonai Wheel or two, and push it along. For very long hauls, build a rudimentary cart with a Steering Stick and Fans to drive it under control.

Reunite the Korok Pair
Navigate through the Gloom-covered terrain to reach the companion Korok. Avoid Gloom pools while transporting — if the Korok detaches, pick it up again. Bring the carried Korok within arm's reach of its companion and place it gently using Ultrahand. The two Koroks reunite with an animated celebration, each yielding one Korok Seed (two seeds total per reunion pair). The double seed reward makes Depths Korok pairs especially valuable.
