Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. This Rauru's Blessing shrine in Central Hyrule is unlocked by completing the "A Cul-de-Sac Cave" crystal quest — one of the more challenging early-game shrine quests.
2. Step 1: Find the cave entrance northeast of Hyrule Castle near Crenel Hills.
3. The opening is partially hidden by ivy — burn it with a fire arrow or Fire Fruit to reveal the entrance.
4. Step 2: Navigate through the cave to the dead end where the green crystal glows.
5. A Blue Hinox guards the crystal and blocks the narrow passage.
6. You have two options: fight the Hinox (aim arrows at its eye to stagger it, then rush in with melee attacks while it is stunned) or lure it away by throwing a bomb flower to one side, then sprint past to grab the crystal with Ultrahand.
7. Step 3: Carry the crystal back through the entire cave to the entrance.
8. The crystal is heavy and slows your movement — drop it temporarily if the Hinox follows you and deal with it first.
9. Place the crystal in the glowing receptacle at the cave mouth to activate the shrine.
10. Step 4: Enter the shrine and walk directly to the altar for Rauru's Blessing.
11. No puzzle inside — the cave journey was the trial.
12. Hidden chest: Inside the shrine, a chest containing a Captain's Claymore sits to the right of the altar.
13. Do not skip it — free high-damage weapon.
