Description
A heavy Zonai artillery piece that fires explosive cannonballs dealing massive physical and AoE blast damage. One of the highest single-hit damage devices in the game. Fires in the direction it faces when activated. Can be vehicle-mounted for mobile artillery — a battle wagon with a forward-facing Cannon can clear an entire camp without Link dismounting. Slow reload between shots but devastating when each shot lands. Found in advanced Capsule Dispensers and Zonai ruin chests on Sky Islands.

Battle wagon artillery (flat platform + fans + Cannon + Steering Stick)
Forward-facing siege vehicle for driving through and bombarding enemy camps
Stationary turret trap pointing at enemy patrol routes or camp entrances
Long-range bombardment of distant enemy groups from an elevated vehicle
Boss fight sustained ranged damage from a safe vehicle platform
Combining with a Rotating Platform for an automatic 360-degree spinning death turret
Pro Tips

Attach a Cannon to a vehicle and it fires automatically when power is active — drive past camps for hands-free bombardment.
*
Cannons have a slow fire rate but massive AoE impact. Best against grouped enemies, not mobile single targets.

Pair with a Steering Stick to aim the entire vehicle (and cannon direction) while driving.
*
Mount on a Rotating Platform for a 360-degree auto-turret that clears everything around a fixed point.
*
Add a Big Battery when using Cannon on a vehicle — Cannons drain energy fast and you want maximum uptime.
*
Aim slightly upward for shots against enemies at lower elevation — Cannon shots arc under gravity.
*
Gotcha: Cannon explosions damage Link if he is too close. Keep distance and use a long vehicle base.
