Solid Blue Horse
About Solid Blue Horse
A rare solid blue-gray wild horse with a balanced stat distribution that leans toward stamina and gentle temperament. Blue horses are uncommon enough that spotting one in a herd feels fortunate. Their distinctive blue-gray or slate-colored coat sets them apart immediately from the brown and spotted horses that dominate most herds. Blue horses tend to have well-rounded stats without excelling in any single area, and their gentle temperament makes them notably more cooperative — both during taming and while riding. For players who find wild-temperament horses frustrating to steer, a gentle blue horse is the natural step up.
Where to Find Solid Blue Horse
Detailed Location
Blue horses appear in scattered locations across Hyrule, typically as individual outliers in mixed-color herds rather than in clusters. Most reliable spawn zones: the Akkala Highlands between South Akkala Stable and East Akkala Stable (check the rolling hills east of Skull Lake), the hillside terrain of East Necluda around Hateno Village (especially near Cliffs of Quince), and the Hyrule Ridge area west of Central Hyrule near Safula Hill. Occasionally appear in Faron Grasslands herds in the south. They are rarer than brown horses but more common than solid black ones — expect to check 2-3 herds before finding one.
How to Tame Solid Blue Horse
1
Blue horses often have gentle temperament, which requires significantly less stamina to soothe than wild or fierce horses.
2
Crouch-approach from behind as with any wild horse — even gentle horses will flee if you walk toward them noisily.
3
Mount and soothe with L. Gentle temperament means roughly half a stamina wheel or less.
4
Gentle horses settle more quickly and feel immediately responsive to steering after taming.
5
Register at the nearest stable and confirm the stats — 4 stamina spurs is ideal for long-distance travel.
