Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Step 1: Enter Kadaunar Shrine on a Sky Island in the sky region.
2. The theme is Water Makes a Way — using water to grow dormant ancient roots into living bridges between sky island platforms.
3. The shrine is set across three small sky island platforms connected by dried-out root systems.
4. The altar is on the third (farthest) platform.
5. Step 2: On the first platform, a stone water basin sits near the edge, filled with clear water.
6. Below the basin, a channel of dried brown roots connects the first platform to the second.
7. These roots are dormant Zonai botanical structures — when watered, they grow rapidly into thick, walkable vines.
8. Step 3: Use Ultrahand to grab the water basin and tilt it toward the root channel at the platform edge.
9. Water pours out of the basin and flows into the root channel.
10. Within 5 seconds, the roots swell, turn green, and extend outward, forming a thick living bridge between the first and second platforms.
11. The bridge is about 2 meters wide — safe to walk across without falling.
12. Step 4: Cross the root bridge to the second platform.
13. Here, a second water basin sits on an elevated stone shelf about 3 meters up.
14. The second root cluster connects Platform 2 to Platform 3, but the roots's base is at ground level while the basin is elevated.
15. Climb the shelf (use the stone blocks nearby as steps) and tilt the elevated basin with Ultrahand — water flows downward into the root channel below.
16. Step 5: The second root cluster grows and extends to Platform 3, forming another living bridge.
17. Before crossing, check the small alcove on Platform 2's underside (lean over the edge and look down) — a chest containing an Opal (worth 60 rupees) hangs in a vine cradle accessible by carefully dropping down and grabbing the vine.
18. Use the Paraglider for safety.
19. Step 6: Cross the second root bridge to Platform 3.
20. A third root cluster here has already partially grown (enough water mist from the previous watering reached it), but it only extends halfway.
21. A small water puddle on Platform 3 can be scooped up using a hollow Zonai sphere (sitting on the platform) — use Ultrahand to dip the sphere into the puddle, then pour it onto the third root cluster.
22. The roots complete their growth, revealing the altar behind the now-lush vine wall.
23. Step 7: Walk through the vine archway and claim the Light of Blessing.
24. Abilities needed: Ultrahand (basin tilting, sphere manipulation), Paraglider (optional for chest access).
25. Pro tip: Do not waste water by pouring it off the platform edge — if the basin empties before the roots are fully watered, there is no refill mechanism and you must restart the shrine.
26. Tilt the basin slowly and aim precisely at the root channel opening.
