Naydra Shrine

Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Naydra Shrine is a Blessing shrine in Faron unlocked by making an offering from the ice dragon Naydra — one of TotK's three legendary dragons.
2. Step 1: Naydra flies a fixed circuit over the Lanayru and Necluda regions.
3. The easiest interception points are Lake Hylia, East Reservoir Lake, or Mount Lanayru's peak.
4. Wait at one of these locations (Naydra passes each point roughly every 20 minutes of real time).
5. Step 2: When Naydra flies overhead, fire an arrow at any of its glowing body parts.
6. Different parts yield different materials: body yields Naydra's Scale, claws yield Naydra's Claw, fangs yield Naydra's Fang Shard, and the horn yields Shard of Naydra's Horn (the most valuable).
7. Any of these materials works for the offering, but the horn shard is extremely useful for armor upgrades — consider farming it.
8. Step 3: The material drops and glows on the ground (or in water).
9. Collect it and travel to the Spring of Wisdom altar on Mount Lanayru's summit.
10. Place the material on the altar to activate the shrine.
11. Step 4: Enter the shrine and walk directly to the altar for the blessing.
12. No puzzle or combat inside — the dragon hunt was the challenge.
13. Hidden chest: Inside the shrine, a chest to the left of the altar contains a Diamond (worth 500 rupees).
14. Pro tip: Attach an Eyeball (from Keese drops) to your arrow before shooting at Naydra — the homing arrow tracks the dragon and virtually guarantees a hit even at long range.
