Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Proving Grounds: Intermediate.
2. Yamiyo Shrine is a combat trial in Central Hyrule where all your equipment is temporarily removed — you fight with only what the shrine provides.
3. Step 1: Collect gear from the pedestals at the start: a three-shot burst Construct Bow, two Construct Swords, and a small supply of arrows.
4. Grab everything before engaging any enemy.
5. Step 2: Two Construct Soldiers patrol the lower arena.
6. Use the burst bow to fire a three-arrow spread at one Soldier's head — the triple hit staggers it instantly.
7. Sprint in and deliver a full sword combo before it recovers.
8. Repeat on the second Soldier.
9. Step 3: A Construct Captain with a shield drops from above once both Soldiers are defeated.
10. The Captain blocks all frontal attacks with its shield.
11. Wait for its overhead vertical swing, then perform a backflip dodge to trigger Flurry Rush — land all hits during the slow-motion window to deal massive damage.
12. Two Flurry Rush sequences will defeat it.
13. Survival tips: Pick up every weapon dropped by defeated enemies — your starting swords will break quickly.
14. Use the arena pillars as cover to heal with any food in the shrine's supply chests.
15. Do not let dropped items despawn (they vanish after about 60 seconds).
16. Hidden chest: After defeating all enemies, a chest appears near the back wall containing a Mighty Construct Blade — your gear is restored after the altar, but the chest item is kept permanently.
