Description

A colossal arachnid made of marbled rock that lurks in the depths of the Fire Temple beneath Death Mountain. Its single eye is its only vulnerability, protected by layers of stone legs and rock armor.

Weakness

Marbled Gohma's primary weakness is Eye on top of its body — exposed when legs break.

How to Beat Marbled Gohma

1. Marbled Gohma is the boss of the Fire Temple, fought in a large circular arena deep within Death Mountain.
2. This colossal arachnid is made entirely of marbled rock, making it impervious to direct weapon attacks on its body.
3. Its single enormous eye on top is the only vulnerable point.
4. Phase 1: Marbled Gohma stands on multiple rock legs that support its massive body.
5. Use Yunobo's Rolling Fireball charge attack to smash into the legs — each leg shatters in one or two hits from Yunobo.
6. You need to break enough legs on one side to cause Marbled Gohma to topple over.
7. When it collapses, the eye becomes accessible — climb on top of the boss and strike the exposed eye with your strongest melee weapon.
8. You get roughly five to eight swings before it recovers and reforms its legs.
9. Repeat this process.
10. During this phase, Gohma attacks by slamming its legs down and sweeping them across the arena.
11. Dodge these by watching for the wind-up animation and rolling to the side.
12. Phase 2: At approximately half health, Marbled Gohma climbs onto the ceiling of the arena, hanging upside down.
13. It drops explosive rock projectiles from above and periodically slams down with devastating force.
14. You cannot reach it with melee attacks.
15. Use Yunobo's charge attack aimed upward to knock it off the ceiling — the reticle will lock onto Gohma when Yunobo is aimed correctly.
16. When knocked down, it is stunned for a longer window than in phase one, giving you more time to pummel the eye.
17. The ceiling phase also introduces smaller rock spiders that swarm the arena floor.
18. Ignore them if possible and focus Yunobo's attacks on the boss.
19. With strong fused weapons, three to four eye exposure cycles should finish the fight.
20. The Master Sword or a high-attack Fused weapon is ideal for maximizing damage during each stagger window.
