Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Daqa Shrine in the Eldin region is a combat trial set in a lava-lit arena against a Fire Bokoblin — your first introduction to elemental enemy weaknesses.
2. Step 1: Enter the arena and immediately strafe right.
3. The Fire Bokoblin launches a fireball as its opening attack, targeting your entry position.
4. If you stand still, you take damage and catch fire.
5. Step 2: The Fire Bokoblin is completely immune to fire damage (fire arrows, bomb flowers, and flame weapons do nothing).
6. Its weakness is ice.
7. Fire two Ice Arrows to freeze it solid — it becomes encased in ice and cannot move for about 4 seconds.
8. Step 3: Sprint toward the frozen Bokoblin and deliver five rapid melee strikes before it thaws.
9. Back away immediately as it breaks free, because it retaliates with an AoE fire burst on recovery.
10. Step 4: Repeat the freeze-and-strike pattern one more time to defeat it.
11. Environmental hazard: The lava vents along the arena walls erupt every 10 seconds, dealing fire damage in a small radius.
12. Keep your fights in the center of the arena, not near the edges.
13. Hidden chest: After defeating the Bokoblin, check the alcove to the left of the arena entrance.
14. A chest containing an Opal sits against the wall — collect it before approaching the altar.
15. Pro tip: If you run out of Ice Arrows, throw Ice Fruit or White Chuchu Jelly at the Bokoblin for the same freezing effect.
