Overview

A Zonai construct manufacturing facility buried in the deepest section of the Depths — the most remote and hazardous temple in Tears of the Kingdom. Unlike the other four temples, the Spirit Temple is completed entirely inside Mineru's mechanical construct. The factory's conveyor belts, pressure plates, reinforced walls, and lava channels can only be navigated by the construct's superior strength. The Seized Construct — Mineru's own construct hijacked by Gloom — waits at the factory's core.

Walkthrough

LOCK 1 (Entry Chamber): Attach any sword or spear to the construct's arm using Ultrahand. Use the construct to lift the enormous stone block covering the first pressure plate. Stand on the plate with the construct to open Lock 1.

LOCK 2 (Reinforced Wall): A thick gloom-reinforced wall blocks progress. Attach a cannon Zonai device to the construct's arm — fire it at the wall to create a breach. Navigate through. Activate the second lock by placing the construct on the floor switch.

LOCK 3 (Conveyor Gauntlet): The conveyor belt runs in reverse, pushing you back toward crushing rollers. Attach fans to the construct's back to generate forward thrust against the conveyor flow. Navigate to the end of the belt and activate the third lock.

LOCK 4 (Lava Channel): A lava river blocks the path — the construct is immune to lava damage (Link is protected inside). Wade across. On the far bank, an ancient generator needs activation — place the construct on the pressure plate and hold it while a timer counts down. The fourth lock opens.

LOCK 5 (Generator Room): Five ancient generators must be powered simultaneously — too many for the construct to press alone. Use Ultrahand to stack heavy crates on four generators, then stand the construct on the fifth. All five trigger at once. Lock 5 and the sanctum open.

Boss Tips — Seized Construct

The Seized Construct mirrors Mineru's own construct in size and capability. This is a construct vs. construct fight — your own weapon attachments determine your options.
The Seized Construct has a gloom energy shield during Phase 1. Use Mineru's construct to smash through it with heavy weapon attacks (two-handed weapons deal the most damage).
The Seized Construct uses its arm weapons aggressively. When it winds up for a slam, dodge sideways with the construct's movement.
After breaking its shield, attack the Seized Construct's head joint — the glowing weak point on the neck. Three to four heavy hits stagger it.
While staggered, the Seized Construct collapses and becomes fully vulnerable. Spam attacks on the head joint for maximum damage.
In Phase 2, the Seized Construct equips itself with cannon arms and begins firing Gloom blasts. Keep moving laterally and close the distance to force melee range where cannons cannot track.
Attach a Guardian Shield (found in the Depths) to the construct's off-arm for the Phase 2 cannon barrage. The shield absorbs multiple hits.
High-tier weapons like Lynel Saber Horns and Royal Claymores attached to the construct end the fight in Phase 1 within two staggers.

Lore

The Spirit Temple is actually the ancient Zonai Construct Factory — the facility where Mineru herself built the mechanical bodies that now serve as Zonai Shrines and combat constructs across Hyrule. Mineru, the Sage of Spirit, died thousands of years ago but preserved her spirit in a device in the Depths, waiting for the hero's arrival. When Ganondorf's Gloom infected the factory, it seized control of Mineru's prototype construct — her most powerful creation — and turned it into the Seized Construct boss.

Atmosphere

Industrial Zonai machinery on a scale that dwarfs all other temples. Enormous conveyor belts stretch between processing chambers. Hydraulic presses and stamping machines thunder rhythmically. Lava channels run between factory floors. The air smells of heated metal and Gloom. Green Zonai energy pulses through circuits in the walls. The entire factory hums with ancient mechanical life.

Sage Ability — Mineru's Construct

Link pilots Mineru's ancient Zonai construct — a powerful mechanical body that can equip weapons to its arms and legs using Ultrahand. The construct can smash boulders, lift heavy objects, wade through lava, cross gaps, and fight enemies with attached weapons (swords, spears, cannons). The construct takes damage independently of Link's health. Weapon attachments break normally — keep spare weapons ready. The construct cannot paraglide but can Ascend.

Before You Enter

Complete all four regional temples (Wind, Fire, Water, Lightning)
Activate the Guidance of Ages Past quest from the Temple of Time on the Great Sky Island
Find Mineru's spirit in the Depths — she speaks to you after all four temples are complete
Locate Mineru's construct body in the Depths — follow the ghost markers to the Construct Factory
Attach Mineru's spirit crystal to the construct body to activate the Spirit Temple

Exploration Notes

The Depths around the Construct Factory have the highest concentration of Poe spirits in the game and multiple powerful Frox camps. After completing the Spirit Temple, Mineru's construct can be summoned in the overworld as a rideable vehicle. All five sages are now available for the Hyrule Castle assault.
