Temple Guides
Complete walkthroughs for all 6 main temples, including sage abilities, puzzle solutions, gear recommendations, and boss strategies.
Hebra Mountains (Sky)
A colossal airborne temple suspended above the Hebra mountain range, locked in perpetual blizzard. Built by the ancient Zonai as a shrine to the wind, it was sealed when Colgera — an entity born from Ganondorf's Gloom — invaded and froze its mechanisms. Five wind turbines must be activated to unlock the inner sanctum. The temple is vertically oriented and rewards players who master updrafts and Tulin's Gust.
Sage: Tulin (Rito)
Tulin's Gust
Tulin shoots a powerful burst of wind that propels Link forward and spins turbines.

Eldin Mountains (Depths)
An ancient Goron ceremonial forge buried deep in the volcanic Depths beneath Death Mountain. Mine cart rails snake through lava-filled chambers that were once used to transport sacred ore. Marbled Gohma — an armored spider of fire and stone — has claimed the temple, corrupting the Goron mining operations above. Five locks activated by mine cart navigation and Yunobo's charge attack seal the inner sanctum. The Fire Temple is the most disorienting of the five temples due to its non-linear mine cart tracks.
Sage: Yunobo (Goron)
Yunobo's Charge
Yunobo transforms into a rolling fireball that Link can aim and launch in any direction.

Lanayru (Sky)
A Zonai water-processing facility suspended in the sky above Lanayru, connected to Zora's Domain below by massive waterfall channels. Sludge from Ganondorf's Gloom has contaminated its water systems, causing the waterways below to run foul and threatening Zora civilization. Four water-level mechanisms must be activated by clearing sludge from faucets using Sidon's water shield. The Water Temple is the most open and non-linear of all five temples.
Sage: Sidon (Zora)
Sidon's Water Shield
Sidon coats Link in a protective water bubble that can be charged and released as a pressurized blast.

Gerudo Desert
An ancient temple half-buried by desert sands in the Gerudo Desert, designed around the manipulation of sunlight and electrical energy. Its mechanisms rely on mirror-reflected light beams to power locks and conductors. Gibdo — undead insect creatures spawned by Ganondorf's Gloom — have overwhelmed its corridors and sealed its mechanisms with their hive resin. Four light-reflection puzzles sealed by Riju's lightning are required to unlock the inner sanctum.
Sage: Riju (Gerudo)
Riju's Lightning
Riju calls down a lightning strike at a targeted location.

The Depths (Construct Factory)
A Zonai construct manufacturing facility buried in the deepest section of the Depths — the most remote and hazardous temple in Tears of the Kingdom. Unlike the other four temples, the Spirit Temple is completed entirely inside Mineru's mechanical construct. The factory's conveyor belts, pressure plates, reinforced walls, and lava channels can only be navigated by the construct's superior strength. The Seized Construct — Mineru's own construct hijacked by Gloom — waits at the factory's core.
Sage: Mineru (Zonai)
Mineru's Construct
Link pilots Mineru's ancient Zonai construct — a powerful mechanical body that can equip weapons to its arms and legs using Ultrahand.

Central Hyrule (Floating)
Hyrule Castle — now torn from the earth and floating above a massive Gloom chasm — is the final dungeon of Tears of the Kingdom and the culmination of the entire story. Unlike the five temples, the castle has no puzzles. Instead, Link battles through Gloom-corrupted corridors filled with Phantom Ganon clones, Gloom Hands, and the Demon King's elite forces. The path descends through the castle into the Depths beneath it, culminating in a three-phase confrontation with Ganondorf that ends with an aerial dragon battle above all of Hyrule.

Scenario
First-time temple run — which order should you tackle the temples?
Tulin
Wind Temple is the easiest. Tulin's gust ability is useful everywhere — essential for exploration and combat mobility.
Yunobo
Fire Temple is straightforward with good puzzles. Yunobo's rolling charge breaks ore deposits and hits distant targets.
Sidon
Water Temple has moderate puzzles. Sidon's water shield blocks one hit and adds water damage to your next attack.
Riju
Lightning Temple is the hardest of the four. Riju's lightning field deals massive AOE damage — best offensive sage ability.
Challenging
Average difficulty across all temples
— Bring extra meals and keep your wits about you.
